Project Manager

I’m so busy managing construction projects that I don’t have time to scan the market myself. Without EasyTrade, I probably would have missed these options opportunities.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before you start.

Is this financial advice?

No. EasyTrade is an educational tool - every signal and piece of content is provided for educational purposes only and does not constitute financial advice, an investment recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any securities. Options trading involves significant risk and isn't suitable for all investors. Read our full educational disclaimer.

What is your track record?

We publish our results in the open. Check the Recent Results section above for real closed signals and live performance metrics.

How is EasyScore calculated?

EasyScore™ is our proprietary 1–99 rating that blends expected return, probability of profit, and max risk into a single number. See How EasyScore Works for the full breakdown.

Do I need experience?

No experience required. Every signal comes with a step-by-step execution guide — which expiration to open, which strike to sell, and what credit to collect — so you always know exactly what to do.

What happens after the 30-day trial?

After your 30-day free trial, you can continue on a paid plan: Premium at $19/month unlocks more signal types, and Diamond at $24/month adds direct TastyTrade order sending and a one-time meeting with the founder. See Pricing for details.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There's no long-term contract — you can cancel your subscription at any time.

How long do trades last?

Most EasyTrade signals run for roughly 21 to 45 days from open to expiration, depending on the strategy. On average, winning trades have closed in 21 days.

How much capital do I need to trade?

The suggested minimum to get started is around $5,000, but some trades require as little as $100. My main tip for your starting investment is to use less than 20% of your capital per trade.

When I receive a Signal Alert, do I need to manually send the trade order to my broker?

Not with the Diamond plan. Link your TastyTrade account and you can send the order straight from the signal in two clicks — no manual order entry. On Free and Premium plans, you place the trade yourself using the step-by-step execution guide.

Do I need to manually close a trade?

Not on the Diamond plan. For Iron Condors and Spreads, if your position is still open at 5 days to expiration, EasyTrade will automatically send an order to close it for you.

What is a Call option?

A Call gives its buyer the right, not the obligation, to buy 100 shares at a fixed price (the strike) before the option expires. Buyers profit when the stock rises. When you sell a Call, you collect a premium upfront and take on the obligation to sell the shares at the strike if you are assigned.

What is a Put option?

A Put gives its buyer the right, not the obligation, to sell 100 shares at a fixed price (the strike) before the option expires. Buyers profit when the stock falls. When you sell a Put, you collect a premium upfront and take on the obligation to buy the shares at the strike if you are assigned, which works best when you are neutral or bullish on the stock.

What is a Strike price?

The strike is the fixed price at which an option can be exercised. Its distance from the current stock price drives both the premium you collect and the probability of profit: strikes farther from the price pay less but are less likely to be reached. Each signal's execution guide tells you exactly which strike to sell.

What is a Margin Call?

A margin call happens when your account equity falls below the level your broker requires to keep your positions open. The broker then asks you to deposit cash or close positions, and may liquidate them for you if you do not. To lower the risk, keep a cash buffer and use less than 20% of your capital per trade.

What is Early Assignment risk?

Whoever holds an option can exercise it before expiration, so the seller may be assigned early and end up buying or selling 100 shares per contract. It is most likely when the option is deep in the money, or when a Call is near a dividend date. To reduce it, close or roll positions before expiration. On the Diamond plan, EasyTrade automatically closes Iron Condors and Spreads at 5 days to expiration.

Do I pay interest on borrowed money?

Only if a trade uses more than the cash in your account. In that case your broker lends you the difference (margin) and charges interest on it daily. Keeping trades within your available cash avoids margin interest. Rates vary by broker, so check yours before using margin.
